Deliver Life is changing normal for mums and their babies - CLEAN VERSION
|Title:||Deliver Life is changing normal for mums and their babies - CLEAN VERSION|
Clean water and decent toilets in hospitals and clinics are essential to maintain safe and hygienic conditions. And these basics keep people healthy at home too. But in the world’s poorest places, more than one in three hospitals and clinics do not have clean water, and almost one in five do not have decent toilets. Without these basics, diseases spread fast and children become malnourished too, unable to absorb the nutrients they need.
The Deliver Life project, made possible by UK aid from the British people, is changing normal for mums and babies across Ethiopia, Malawi and Rwanda. Since it began in 2016, more than 70,000 people have clean water, and more than 47,000 people have decent toilets.
Babies surviving, children thriving and everyone living healthier, happier, more fulfilling lives. That’s the water effect.
